Residual fuel oil is very popular in Ghana but has recently been banned by the government. Then what kind of oil can you use to replace the residual oil? The pyrolysis oil refined by the cracking equipment can completely replace the residual oil.
Residual fuel oil is one of the lowest value petroleum products produced by refineries. It is essentially a by-product of the production of light oils, which are the main focus of refineries. The main end use of residual fuel oil is as fuel in simple furnaces such as power plants and industrial boilers. Recently, the government of Ghana has introduced strict requirements on the use of fuel oil. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a substitute for residual oil, and pyrolysis oil is undoubtedly a very good choice.
The application of pyrolysis plant and diesel
In fact, the calorific value of pyrolysis oil is higher, about 44 MJ/kg, while the calorific value of waste tires is 33 MJ/kg. The calorific value of oil is also higher than bituminous coal's 28 MJ/kg and charcoal's 30 MJ/kg. Pyrolysis oil can be used as a liquid fuel for industrial furnaces, power plants and boilers. The ash and residual carbon content of this oil is relatively low. Therefore, pyrolysis oil can completely replace residual oil.
So, how is pyrolysis oil obtained? Waste tires can be converted into fuel oil through the tire cracking process. The most commonly used synthetic polymers in tire production are styrene-butadiene copolymers. When the pyrolysis temperature exceeds 350 degrees Celsius, the polymer decomposes into small fuel oils and hydrocarbon gases. do waste tire cracking plant adopts the latest cracking technology to process waste tires at high temperature under anaerobic conditions. Through the pyrolysis process of waste tires, fuel oil, carbon black, steel wire and combustible gas can be obtained. Cracking process is a very popular technology in the whole market, not only to obtain residual oil, but also to make a profit. We use a heating program to convert waste tires into pyrolysis oil, and the oil production rate is stable at around 45% - 50%.
